So what is a High Raw Omnivore? (the short answer)
Well, if you want the long answer, click here, but if you’re happy with a quick fix, then basically it means that I can eat whatever the heck I want! Nothing is off limits, because there’s no faster way to make a gal crave something than by telling her that she can’t have it!
The difference lies in the fact that I CHOOSE to eat things that are, on the whole, as healthy as possible, and that means as true to their original form as possible. Now this doesn’t mean you’ll find me munching on a whole head of broccoli, but rather a broccoli salad, for example, which goes something like this:
Liese’s Raw Broccoli Salad
broccoli, finely chopped
red onion, finely chopped
apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
salt and pepper
maybe some mustard
and a sprinkle of pumpkin, sunflower or sesame seeds…
accompanied by a nice piece of grilled chicken or a steak of course!
That’s what makes me a high raw omnivore. At least 3/4 of my dinner plate will be covered in raw vegetables and there may or may not be a meat protein to go with it. But this does not mean to say that a chip or a cheesecake aren’t out of the question on the odd occasion either
But why, you may ask? Well, for my health of course. Not that I was especially sick before, but I have certainly never felt better in my life than I do now. In fact, I haven’t had to take a paracetamol tablet in years! You wouldn’t put the wrong fuel in you car now would you? If you did, it definitely wouldn’t take you very far, so it stands to reason that if you put the wrong fuel in yourself, you won’t get very far either!
